Halloween Loop Costume Ball!

Saturday, October 26th, 2019 marks the 40th anniversary of the Halloween Loop Costume Ball in Wilmington Delaware! To celebrate this milestone, Out & About Magazine, Live Nation Concerts, and other area businesses are partnering with the Light Up The Queen Foundation at The Queen in Downtown Wilmington. Doubling as a fundraiser for Light Up The Queen, the event will see Halloween Loop festivities return to where the one-of-a-kind costumed celebration began four decades ago on Market Street!

SCOTT MACKLER 5K!

11/3/19 is the 20th Annual Scott Mackler 5K Memorial walk/run for ALS which takes place at Temple Beth El in Newark, Delaware. Scott Mackler waged a courageous battle with ALS for well over 15 years.

Sadly, the manifestations of Lou Gehrig's disease ended his brilliant research career on November 19th, 2013. Even though Scott's compassionate spirit and humanitarian efforts are sorely missed, his philanthropic contributions to those impacted by ALS continue to live on in his absence.

The Scott A. Mackler, MD, PhD Assistive Technology Program creates access to assistive technology possible for hundreds of people with ALS in our Chapter’s region.
